    ABOUT US

The Science Teachers’ Forum, Manipur (STFM) was established on 5 September 1976 and formally registered under the Manipur Society Registration Act in 1979. Since its inception, STFM has been committed to nurturing a scientific temper, strengthening science education, and fostering environmental awareness across Manipur.

A cornerstone of our activities is the National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC), which we have been closely associated with since its launch in 1993. Through this platform, thousands of schoolchildren in Manipur have been encouraged to undertake investigative projects and develop critical scientific skills.

STFM works in close collaboration with organizations such as the Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC) and the Department of Science & Technology (DST) to conduct state-level science programs, interactive workshops, and innovative campaigns. These partnerships have enabled us to blend science learning with creativity, culture, and technology.

Today, STFM continues to serve as a bridge between science education and society, committed to empowering the younger generation with knowledge, curiosity, and responsibility towards the environment.
